WHAT IS BASIC?
BASIC stands for “Brothers and Sisters in Christ.” We are a network of college students and churches in the Northeast that come together to enjoy life, learn about God, and make a positive impact in the world. Students from more than 30 campuses gather each week to worship God and encourage one another to live out their faith in Christ at school. Every semester, students from numerous universities convene in Rochester, NY, for three days of passionate worship, powerful teaching, and transformative ministry. Since BASIC was founded in 1978, over 18,000 students from more than 60 campuses and various nations have been impacted by these conferences.
PRACTICAL LIVING
At BASIC we are encouraging our students to Live Out Loud! In today’s world Christians are sometimes drowned out by voices from every which way. God is calling us to be a holy generation that is obedient to his commands. It is time to live our Christian lives OUT LOUD with faith and love in action, and make a difference in the lives around us!
